Tips to get a high score
- The meter on the left keeps track of how close you are to finishing the level. Keep an eye on it. When you're very close to finishing, use the best bonus piece you have to set off a chain reaction.
Analysis of scoring
- Each level automatically ends once the meter on the left reaches full. However, if a chain reaction is still in progress when the meter becomes full, it will continue until the reaction is finished, adding points. Essentially, this is the only way to improve your overall score.
- I've been keeping track of my scores for each level. I've come up with an upper limit on the minimum score and lower limit on the maximum score (you may want to read that sentence twice). I suspect that the maximum score for each level may be theoretically unbounded, but that a hard minimum score does exist for each level, provided that the level be completed. Here's what's been observed so far:
Observed Scoring Ranges for each Level

Based on this data, the theoretical minimum and maximum scores for a game in which all 15 levels are completed would be 15,575 and 21,895, respectively. Of course, much lower scores are possible if you get a "no more moves" message, or if you simply quit in the middle of the game.
