Semi-restricted games are similar to restricted games in that they are trial versions of a game that is sold as a full casual game. However, in semi-restricted games the applied restrictions are not as severe. For example, the levels are not limited, or the full version has the same limitation on gameplay length as the trial version. Game modes can also be missing but the main game mode is the dominant factor in the full version as well.
