These games are more known as "time management games". Except for Gem Shop, which is just a match-3 game. Icanntspell

I was looking for the correct expression, but I didn't have many sources - on Wikipedia, Diner Dash and Cake Mania, the most notable games of this type, are categorized as "action, strategy" games. However, I felt that there must be a separate category for this kind of game, since the guidelines are well established. You get customers, and you must serve them - so they are customer-serving games. Even after learning the truth, the term "time management game" sounds too indeterminate for someone (especially if English is not your mother language) to associate to what kind of game that is, while "customer serving" is straight to the subject.
