Gameplay information

In each level, you are presented with a grid containing random crops. To harvest them, you must find a rectangle which has the same crop in all four corners. Once harvested, the contents of the selected tiles are re-randomized. The secondary objective is to fill up enough trucks to advance to the next level. Each truck will only accept a particular crop type. When you harvest some crops, only those that the truck accepts will count toward your goal.

After each level, you are taken to a shop where you can buy upgrades. The following upgrades are available in the online version:

  • Small House ($500): increases income from crops.
  • Pumpkin ($300, available from level 2-1): after buying this, you can replace the default cucumber or tomato with this for more cash reward. Click on the icons at the bottom of the screen to replace them. Note: if you buy Pumpkin, in level 2-4 you will have all 3 types of crops on the board. Otherwise you will have only the basic two.
  • Water Well ($7500): charges up as you make moves. When fully charged, the next move will harvest double crops. Then the well starts charging again.

Several bonuses and specials are available:

  • Best Match: starting with level 1-2, if you make a match that covers the as many tiles as possible (based on the current valid moves), you get a $20 bonus.
  • Wild tiles: starting with level 1-3, you sometimes get wild tiles that can be used in matches in place of any crop. Wild tiles are never harvested and can only be removed by matching.
  • Lost Coin: starting with level 1-4, this is activated randomly. It highlights the best move for the following 5 turns.
  • Buttefrly: starting with level 2-2, a butterfly will sometimes land on a tile. Including this tile in a move gives you a $100 bonus.

Tips

Don't buy the Water Well. It counts against your total score and the advantage of having it is negligible on the short term you are given in the online game.

Once you can access the bonus, try to find the best match on every move, using the PrintScreen+Pause method if necessary. The only exception is when you have a butterfly on the board. If the best match doesn't include the butterfly, you might want to catch it anyway before it's gone, as the bonus for a butterfly is $100, compared to the $20 bonus on the best match.
