The adventure mode gives you about 10k points before it ends so play the arcade mode.

PrintScreen+Pause is the best way to get good points. If you don't miss any items, you can build up a high multiplier. However, after several levels the level time gets very short (even the time bar will be red at the start of the level) and you won't be able to click on all objects fast enough.
