ML10 is 750,000 points. You get 400,000 for finishing in first and 20,000 for eliminating one player. So what that means is that you have to have 330,000 points racked up before finishing the game. The only way to get that many points is to try and NOT win the game. The longer you play the more potential hands to win and increase your point total.
So I try to eliminate two players as quickly as I can. Hopefully the other players don't eliminate each other, because that's a quick 20,000 points you lose.
Once you get down to one player, you have to purposely lose every once in a while to make sure he has some money left. I find it best to keep your opponent around $100,000. Don't let him get down to $30,000, because if he folds after the blinds, even if he has $15,000 left, the game will automatically end. Same with your cash as well. (That's happened a couple times to me.)
Also when you are down to one player, you don't want to get in bidding wars with him. The best scenario is to just play for the blinds each hand. If he raises, I usually just fold, unless I'm really low on cash.
